Today's fishing outlook
A weather-only index — not a prediction or guarantee of a catch.
Search a US ZIP code or city to estimate conditions for the selected species. This is not a live catch report.
What to try for bass
Work slowly near cover, points and submerged structure.
Try around wind-blown banks and vegetation.
First light and the last couple of hours before sunset.
Fan-cast likely structure; vary retrieve speed until you find a pattern.
Suggestions are general species guidance, adjusted using available weather data. Local forage, season, water clarity and regulations matter.

Weekend fishing alert
The app can assess the forecast when you open it. Automatic alerts while the app is closed need a push-notification service and server setup, which are not enabled in this version.
No paid service or subscription is required for the current weather and water-data features. We will not pretend that a background alert is active when it is not.
Built on real data, not fishing rumors
Weather is retrieved from the US National Weather Service when available. Nearby stream and river measurements are checked against the modern USGS Water Data API. Not every lake or fishing spot has a live gauge or recent catch reports.
Data availability and update frequency depend on the monitoring station and source. Always verify conditions locally before heading out.
